Los Angeles Lakers Star LeBron James Sends Beautiful Message For Bronny James Amid Criticisms
Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Despite all the hype surrounding Bronny James’ recent NBA Draft Combine performance, there’s still so many uncertainties about his future in the league. Even if that’s the case, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has his son’s back no matter what.

A couple of years ago, the older James declared that he plans to play his final season with Bronny in the league. As a result, the media, critics, and fans alike placed more attention on LeBron’s son to see whether he can handle all the challenges of being an NBA player.

This heightened interest on Bronny reached its peak when he performed poorly during his one-year stint for USC. In the 25 PAC-12 games he played this season, the young star averaged 4.8 points on 26 percent shooting from beyond the arc, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists. He didn’t fare better in the NCAA tournament when he just dropped 4.8 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in 20 games.

After his lone year at USC, Bronny entered the transfer portal while kept everyone guessing whether he’ll enter the draft. Just recently, though, he participated in this year’s combine with his father watching and put up a respectable performance there. As a result, everyone’s interest in him has spiked up considerably.

Los Angeles Lakers’ LeBron James Drops Beautiful Message For Bronny James

After his performance at the NBA Draft Combine, Bronny was interviewed by reporters and said he wants to be more than LeBron James’ son. In response, the Lakers All-Star forward posted a sweet message for his son online.

A couple of months ago, a mock draft by ESPN excluded Bronny for this year’s batch. This development prompted James to defend his son and told everyone to let him just be a kid.

It remains to be seen whether Bronny will declare for this year’s NBA Draft or not. What’s definite, though, is that LeBron will always have his back no matter what.
